GOAL: Literacy/Math Teacher is responsible for helping to plan, coordinate, and implement student supports to address the needs of students in the area of literacy and/or mathematics. Tuesday and Thursday after school.The teacher will perform a wide variety of specialized instruction in support of the district's Beyond the Bell program. Job Responsibilities: Plan, organize and evaluate research-based interventions for individual students. Plan, sequence, and scaffold instruction.
Work successfully with administrators, teachers, students and parents. Use assessment data to improve instruction, and problem solve. Provide individualized interventions for students who have not achieved their reading level or math benchmarks.Provide small group and individual instruction according to individual student needs. Perform a wide variety of responsible and specialized tasks.
Interpret and apply rules and regulations as appropriate. Other duties as assigned by Principal or Administration.The pay is curriculum rate, plus planning per hour.
