What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Coach/ Mentor position at Middletown Public Schools?
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Instructional Coach/ Mentor (Reading, Language Arts, Writing and Math) to join our team and support learners 16- 18 years old in enhancing their basic academic skills in Reading, Language Arts, Writing and Math.
The ideal candidate will work with learners in a small individualized environment, preparing them to pass the high school equivalency exam and successfully transition to post-secondary education, advanced training, the military, or employment. Under the supervision of the Director of Student Services, the instructor will focus on providing foundational reading, writing and math instruction, fostering student engagement, social emotional skill development and ensuring all learners meet the necessary academic requirements for High School Equivalency Exam completion.
