Position Description:
GOAL: Gr. K-8 ELL Beyond the Bell Teacher is responsible for overseeing and supporting English Language Learner students in grades K-8 participating Monday through Thursday from July 7 - July 31 from 8:30am - 3:30pm in the areas of Science, Math, English and History/Social Studies.
The MLL Summer Beyond The Bell Teacher will perform a variety of specialized and responsible tasks in support of the Unit Recovery Program. These conditions will include:
Supporting students’ academic needs while monitoring their progress.
Maintaining exclusive records of student progress utilizing various assessments and progress monitoring tools within the Edmentum Courseware program.
Teachers are likewise responsible for establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with administrators, teachers, students and parents.
Teachers will set up and maintain Google Classroom, take daily attendance and report to the Coordinator, as well as Monitor Edmentum Courseware student progress.
Training will be provided for the Edmentum Courseware.
