Job Title : Birthday Party Host
Summary :
We are seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Birthday Party Host. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for children and their families during birthday celebrations hosted at our venue.
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, creativity, and the ability to ensure that each party runs smoothly from start to finish.
Responsibilities :
1. Greet party guests upon arrival and ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
2. Escort party guests to / from ice rink or pool, pull / return ice skates for each skater.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of party areas before, during, and after each event.
4. Assist with set-up and clean-up of party decorations, tables, and chairs.
5. Monitor and manage the flow of the party, ensuring that scheduled activities are executed on time.
6. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians to address any questions or concerns they may have.
7. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a positive and memorable experience.
8. Handle any issues or conflicts that may arise during the party with professionalism and discretion.
9. Uphold safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the well-being of all party participants.
10. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless coordination of all party elements.
11. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the party experience through creativity and innovation.
Qualifications :
1. Previous experience working with children in a party or entertainment setting is preferred.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children and adults effectively.
3. Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
4. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and adapt to changing circumstances.
6. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
7. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and engage in active play for extended periods.
8. CPR and first aid certification is a plus.
9. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in child development or related fields is beneficial.
