Responsibilities and Expectations
- Develop and Implement IEPs: Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to create individualized education plans for students with disabilities.
- Provide High-Quality Instruction: Deliver targeted instruction and support to students in various educational settings, ensuring they receive the necessary resources to succeed.
- Cultivate Inclusive Learning Environments: Design and maintain flexible and engaging learning spaces that promote social interaction, academic growth, and student well-being.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of student support services.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field.
- California Teaching Credential authorizing service in special education (Education Specialist Credential or equivalent) with ELD or CLAD authorization.
- RST or equivalent preferred.
