The successful candidate will have a high school education, a minimum of two years' experience as a CNC Machinist, and working knowledge of OKK mills and MasterCam programming software. The individual must be able to lift 40 lbs. and perform all general duties of a CNC Machinist.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC Mills, including setup workpiece, loading programs, and inspecting component size and fit.
- Maintain CNC equipment and recommend tool and equipment purchases to optimize performance.
- Analyze blueprints and CAD data to determine programming sequences and make calculations for efficient cutting.
- Write and modify programs using software applications such as MasterCam to increase efficiency.
- Monitor programs to ensure they follow blueprint instructions and safely complete tasks.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Requirements:
- High school education required. Additional courses in drafting, blueprint reading, and CAD/CAM software applications are a plus.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a CNC Machinist required. Working knowledge of OKK mills and MasterCam programming software is a plus.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and perform all general duties of a CNC Machinist.
