Middleville Engineered Solutions LLC is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Team Lead to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing our manufacturing team while ensuring we meet and exceed production targets.
Main Responsibilities:
• Leading and managing all activities of the 2nd shift manufacturing team to achieve optimal production outcomes.
• Providing comprehensive training and support to team members on new and existing processes, emphasizing safety, efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.
• Identifying and resolving production issues, ensuring timely solutions and tracking progress on complex challenges.
• Cultivating an MTPS culture where every team member is empowered to contribute to problem-solving and improvement.
• Collaborating with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing-related problems effectively.
• Utilizing Standardized Work Instructions to evaluate, improve, and correct operational practices.
• Participating in initiatives aimed at reducing set-up and changeover times.
What We're Looking For:
• High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by specialized training in Lean Operations.
• Experience operating various manufacturing machines and support equipment, including welders.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Completion of required harassment prevention training.
• 3-5 years of practical experience in a manufacturing/stamping environment, including die setting, welding, overhead crane, Hi-lo, and basic hand tool skills.
