Information Technology Administrator - Position and Responsibilities

As an Information Technology Administrator within our Information Technology (IT) department, you will be responsible for onboarding users and providing user support for workstations, systems, and software services across Middough (Company). In this highly visible role, you will work on projects that expand the Company's adoption and successful use of new and existing platforms, and be responsible for end-user support, troubleshooting, system maintenance, network administration and more. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

Improve IT efficiency, effectiveness and profitability within scope of responsibilities.
Provide effective collaboration with IT team and internal groups across the Company to ensure initiatives are met.
Support end-users by responding to support requests, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, determining, and implementing solutions.
Assist in the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of IT functions and equipment including hardware, software, network operations, internet operations, telephony and more.
Ensure security of systems and data meet highest standards.
Maintain required IT documentation for both internal department use and end-user knowledgebase reference.
Manage inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses.
Collaborate with consultants and software suppliers to optimize service, cost, and risk.

Education, Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will possess the following :

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or a technical Associate's degree with relevant years of hands-on technical work experience and technical certifications.

Two years of work experience supporting Microsoft-based software and hardware in a network environment.

Experience working in a professional services industry highly preferred.

Microsoft security (ex. CompTIA Security ) and / or ITIL certifications are a plus.

Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory (or Microsoft Entra), Office 365, Azure, and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).

Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Power Platform, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Egnyte preferred but not required.

Knowledge or experience with cybersecurity practices and frameworks is a plus.

Eagerness to learn and work with Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a plus.

Experience managing tasks or projects that involve multiple interrelated components and deadlines.

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and manage projects to on time completion.

Strong client service skills, ability to research, analyze, and escalate issues as needed.

Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong listening and interpersonal skills.

Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

Frequently use up-close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.

Should not expect adverse environmental conditions within company offices.

May be exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as climbing ladders and / or stairs, extreme heat and / or cold, and / or poor air quality) if or when on-site at a client facility. Noise levels may be moderate to high at various client sites, hearing protection may be required and / or provided. Safety protections to be provided by the client and / or company and are required to be used and followed.

May require occasional car or air travel to other company locations or client sites.

This position requires the candidate / employee to possess and maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance in their state of residence.
