Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and expert advice on automotive repairs and maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle systems, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assess their automotive service needs.
• Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance services, including engine repair, oil changes, and brake systems.
• Document customer concerns and relay information to technicians for efficient service delivery.
• Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Educate customers on vehicle maintenance best practices and recommend necessary services to enhance vehicle performance.
• Assist in automotive sales by promoting service packages and special offers.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further concerns.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive service advising or related roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, including auto estimating and service writing.
• Familiarity with various automotive systems such as engines, brakes, and other services.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Certification in automotive technology or related fields is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.60 per hour
