Summary:
Midland is currently hiring a PRN Cook to join our team on an as-needed basis. The PRN Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to menu specifications for our Meals on Wheels kitchen as well as our Hospice House kitchen. Additionally, they will ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Employment Status: PRN
Pay Rate: $17/hour

Qualifications
Required: Ability to attend work on a consistent basis, which includes arriving timely and staying for the full shift per Midland Cares attendance policy. Must enjoy cooking, especially on a large scale and be passionate about producing nutritious and good tasting food. Must possess a valid Kansas or Missouri Drivers License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organizations insurability standard as defined by Midland policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position. One year of experience in food service, cooking and kitchen duties. Ability to do kitchen math and to read and interpret recipes.
Preferred: Serv-Safe Training Certification. Two or more years of food service and cooking duties.
