Summary :
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and coordination of all life enrichment activities at the PACE Day Center and the supervision of assigned staff. This position serves as a member of the PACE Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), oversees the development of programming and care planning, the management of staff, the oversight of supplies and related budget and pursues new ideas that all result in the provision of meaningful, purposeful experiences and brings joy to the participants. The Life Enrichment Manager will develop programming that encompasses all facets of a person's being : physical, social, intellectual, artistic, and spiritual. The programming includes on-site and off-site experiences including in the homes of PACE participants when relevant..
Midland Care's Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a not-for-profit health care program that helps people at risk for needing nursing home care who meet a level of care requirement stay in their own homes and communities.
Employment Status : Full-time | Monday-Friday | 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
Pay Rate starts at $20.86 / hr. (pay is based on like experience / requirements.)

Qualifications
Required : One year experience working with an elderly population; interdisciplinary teamwork, ability to work effectively with culturally, economically and educationally diverse populations, and form positive interpersonal relations in dealing with a wide range of staff participants essential; Ability to assist with activities at home and in center. Good understanding of psychosocial problems of aging. Must possess a valid Kansas Driver's License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization's insurability standard as defined by Midland policy.
Preferred : Activities Director Certification
