CNC Plasma Table Operator (1-2 yrs experience required)

Job Title: Plasma Table Operator

Department: Fabrication

Reports To: Production Manager/Fabrication Lead

Summary:

The Plasma Table Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plasma cutting table. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the plasma cutting table to cut metal parts according to specifications
• Set up and maintain the plasma cutting table
• Inspect parts for accuracy and quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the plasma cutting table
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures
• Load material onto the plasma table using a forklift

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience operating a plasma cutting table
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with CNC programming
• Excellent communication skills
• Forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work in a noisy and dusty environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
