Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Summary:
The Press Brake Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets and plates according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating press brake machines and a strong understanding of metalworking techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets and plates according to specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders to determine the required bends and angles
- Select and install the appropriate tooling for each job
- Position metal sheets and plates on the press brake bed and align them with the tooling
- Operate the press brake machine to bend and shape the metal according to specifications
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Maintain press brake machines and tooling
- Follow safety procedures and regulations
- Keep accurate records of press brake operations and maintenance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience operating press brake machines
- Strong understanding of metalworking techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders
- Familiarity with press brake tooling and setup procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Forklift experience
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in a noisy and dusty environment
