Job Summary
The Server and Virtualization Administrator will implement, manage, and support server and virtualization technologies. This role involves monitoring, managing, optimizing, updating, backing up, and securing the server and virtualization infrastructure, operating systems, server tools, and server-side applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and two years of relevant work experience, or five years of IT infrastructure administration experience
- Experience in server management in a physical and virtual environment including VMware, Windows Server, Linux, and related systems
- Possession of a valid Texas Driver License, good driving record, and insurability on Midland College's insurance policy
