Community healthcare facility looking to bring on Director Case Management!
Responsible and accountable for clinical and financial operations of the Care Management system. The Director provides leadership through effective managerial and educational direction in the areas of Care Management operations, resource management, patient flow through the continuum, DRG financial analysis, change management, managed care, guidelines/protocols, clinical documentation and systems improvement.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an with BSN, or Masters level Social work, required.
• Certification in Care Management preferred.
• Current BCLS (RN) or Hands only CPR (MSW).
• 3 years recent care or similar nursing, CM, experience.
• 3 years demonstrated management in related field
• Fiscal Management.
• Managed Care concepts and strategies; DRG reimbursement.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Third Party admission.
• Knowledge of "Benchmark" and "Best Practice" methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Milliman or Interqual criteria.
