Assures service, growth, development, personnel management, and resource allocation and management controls to ensure consistent high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
- 25 ER Beds:
- No Trauma Level
- Main ED see’s 160 patients; has 3 FSEDs – has 2 Managers for Main & 1 for FSED
- FSED – newest is seeing 25 patients a day. ER at The Lakes see up to 110 patients & South Vegas Blvd sees 60-80 patients daily
- 96 FTEs plus a lot of PRNs close to 120 people
- Reports to the ACNO
- The ED has a high performing team, nurses are fantastic and amazing work done in the ED
- Ideal person who knows how to lead a group with presence and done accurately
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required
- Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred
- 3 years of experience in emergency services required
- 3 years of experience in a leadership role preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
