Hospital system looking to bring on Manager Perioperative Services! 2nd shift/evenings 10am-6pm. Bonus Incentives!
- Responsibilities include managing the daily work activities of the work unit/department staff, ensuring quality, productivity, functional excellence and efficiency while assisting management in accomplishing strategic and operational objectives. Provides guidance to staff and is responsible for staffing, budget compliance, contributing to staffing decisions such as hiring and terminating employment, coaching and counseling employees on work-related performance, and assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure a safe and effective work environment.
13 OR’s, will be adding 3 more
40-50 cases a day

Reports to the Surgical Services Director
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, Master’s preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 3 years experience in nursing, 2 years in a progressive leadership role in healthcare
- Must have large, busy OR leadership experience
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
- RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA)
- Magnet - ANCC Recognized Certification within 1 year
