Orthopedic Surgery First Assistant (RN)

Growing hospital and clinic looking for APRN who holds an RNFA or has experience as an Ortho Surgery CFA!

Team consist of 3 MD’s, 1 APRN / RNFA, 1 APRN, 1 PA.

Common Surgical Treatments include : Fracture repair

  • Joint Replacement
  • Ligament repair (ACL, MCL, PCL, LCL)
  • Radial Head Replacement
  • Rotator Cuff Repair
  • Carpal Tunnel
  • Tendon Repair.

Joint Treatments include :

  • Hyaluronan injections for arthritic joints
  • Steroid injections for short term pain relief.
  • 2 years of ortho surgery experience required. Must have 1st assist certification.
  • Planned coverage of 2 days in the OR & 2 days in the clinic shared call schedule.
  • Additional pay for call schedule.
