Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for all students.
- Facilitate small group tutoring sessions to enhance literacy education and support individual learning needs.
- Observe and assess student progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher regarding each child's development.
- Promote positive social interactions among students and encourage cooperative play during daycare activities.
- Help prepare materials and resources for daily lessons, ensuring they are accessible and ready for use.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative educational experience.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- A background in Childhood Development or related field is preferred.
