Midland Plastics has immediate openings for a 2nd shift Saw Operator with an eye for detail at our New Berlin, WI location.

You will work with a variety of plastic materials of different shapes and sizes, typically running several different jobs each day.

Midland Plastics continues to invest in new equipment, having purchased six pieces of brand-new machinery in the last two years at our New Berlin location alone. We operate state-of-the-art equipment, including leading-edge robotics technology. We proudly manufacture products for nationally recognized organizations, including the Daytona 500 and Daytona 200 trophies, as well as lifesaving NICU incubator hoods. Our company continues to grow, with an added emphasis on custom machined parts that require a skilled hand, a no-nonsense work ethic, and the ability to be flexible in your job.

Job Responsibilities

· Set up CNC Saw to cut material according to specifications, using correct tooling, speeds, and feeds

· Utilize logic and basic math skills to calculate yields, like solving a puzzle

· Inspect finished parts using measuring tools

· Communicate and collaborate with others in various departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues

Qualifications include:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 1-2 years of saw operation experience preferred

· Carpentry, woodworking, or metal cutting skills easily transferrable - will train!

· Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, caliper, micrometer), tape guns, and knives
