Fast growing plastic products company with multiple manufacturing locations and sales over $400 million dollars has an excellent opportunity available for a Materials Manager. This position will be responsible for leading the procurement of raw materials from suppliers, negotiating prices, & managing inventory to meet customer demand. Requirements : Must have at least 10 years of experience in material purchasing. Experience in the plastics industry is a must. Experience in purchasing plastic recycled resins is a must. Experience in plastic injection molding and / or extrusion is preferred. Experience with thermoplastics, polyolefins, HDPE, LLDPE, LDPE, polyethylene, polypropylene or PET would be a plus. Working knowledge of Design & Reporting capabilities the Enterprise System : JD Edwards. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite. Skilled in Data Mining Techniques & reporting of information. Bachelor's Degree is a must. CSCP, CPIM or ASCM Certification is preferred.
