Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Escrow Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the title industry and a keen attention to detail. In this role, you will manage escrow accounts, coordinate real estate transactions with clients and lenders, perform real estate closings, and ensure that all transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process escrow transactions, including receiving and disbursing funds.
- Prepare and review closing documents and ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Communicate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties to gather necessary information and resolve any issues.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all escrow transactions.
- Assist with the preparation of settlement statements and other closing documents.
- Handle escrow-related inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Facilitate real estate closing meetings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher in business or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in title industry preferred.
- Knowledge of real estate transactions and escrow procedures.
- Proficiency with escrow and title software systems, specifically Ramquest preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and escrow software.
- Strong communication skills and desire to be client-facing.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
