The Walker School of Education at Midland University is seeking exceptional adjunct faculty members to teach undergraduate courses in Education. The 16-week semester begins in January 2025.
Qualifications:
- Two years or more experience in teaching PK-12.
- A Master's degree
The Adjunct Instructor is responsible for the following:
- Develop your course, syllabus, Canvas shell, and course materials.
- Convene class sessions for the assigned times.
- New hires must complete orientation, professional development sessions, and any school-specific/activites.
- Follow current Faculty Expectations document.
- Respond promptly to Registrar's requests, including submitting midterm and final grades by the deadline established by the Registrar.
- You are expected to check and respond to your emails daily and provide timely feedback.
- Attend meetings as agreed upon with your Dean.
- Provide assessment data as required by the Education Department.
- Some courses may be delivered using online instruction.
Compensation/Benefits:
Wages paid on a per-course basis commensurate with education, experience, and expertise.
Timeline:
