What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty – Art position at Midland University?
Midland University, a small, private four-year college in Fremont, Nebraska, (just outside of metro Omaha) is seeking an exceptional adjunct faculty member to teach in-person art courses. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering in-person class activities, developing engaging online materials and assessments, providing timely feedback on written assignments, and responding to student inquiries within 24-hours, meeting with them individually as needed. Courses are offered in 16-week terms. Term begins in August.
For the Fall semester the course is Introduction to Drawing on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 to 3:15pm, with the potential for additional courses in future semesters.
Qualifications:
• A master's degree in Fine Art or a related field is required
• A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience, teaching at the college level or teaching/ training adults is preferred
