What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty - Physiology of Exercise position at Midland University?
Midland University, a small, private four-year college in Fremont, Nebraska (just
outside of metro Omaha), seeks an exceptional adjunct faculty member to teach
our Physiology of Exercise course in an in-person format. Responsibilities include
preparing and delivering in-person class activities, developing engaging online
materials and assessments, providing timely feedback on written assignments,
responding to student inquiries within 24 hours, and meeting with them
individually as needed. Courses are offered in 16-week terms. Term begins
January 13, 2025. This 3-credit course is scheduled on-campus Tuesday and
Thursday from 9:30-10:50am.
Qualifications:
● A master's degree in Exercise Science, Strength & Conditioning, or a closely
related field (Ph.D.preferred)
● A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience, teaching at the college
level or teaching/ training adults is highly preferred
