What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty – Theater position at Midland University?
Midland University, a small, private four-year college in Fremont, Nebraska, (just outside of metro Omaha) is seeking an exceptional part-time staff member to do the following:
- Teach 1-2 theater courses per semester in an in-person format. This would include topics such as directing, acting and costume & make-up design.
- Direct one play during the school year.
- Design/Build the costumes, makeup, and wigs for three main-stage productions.
Qualifications:
- A master's degree in Theater or closely-related discipline is required
- A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience, teaching at the college level or teaching/ training adults is highly preferred
