We focus on higher end finishes and work with only the best equipment, tools, and materials for the trade. We are a new family owned company; however, we are not new to the trade. The owners and management team have over 30 years combined experience in all areas of the business. We strive to find people who are creative and look at the work they do as art and love creating amazing products for our customers. We Have clients up and down the east coast. From New Jersey down to Florida. We work on luxury yachts, sport fishing boats, center consoles, and lake boats . From the smallest to the biggest boats and ships. We are a custom canvas shop, and we create protective covers, Tops, enclosures soft and acrylic, sunshades, cushions, upholstery, and much more! We want to grow, and we want to find more people who want to be a part of what we do and where we are going. Sewing experience is a must! We are currently looking for someone that has experience with cushions and upholstery. Experience in marine canvas would be a plus, but we will train the right candidate that has professional sewing experience. Stop in and see us!

We are currently looking for someone that has experience with cushions and upholstery. We are looking for a Sewing Machine Operator with experience operating an industrial sewing machine. The ideal candidate will have experience working with industrial sewing machines, experience with making and following patterns, the ability to multitask and make quick decisions in the event of an issue. Our organization is seeking individuals who are willing to complete necessary training in order to master various types of canvas and upholstery, and we are searching for candidates who are enthusiastic about their work and committed to the success of our team. We work together as a team to complete the projects we have. Everyone here has a voice and their own experience in the sewing industry, we love that and we love sharing ideas to create the best product possible. If you are inexperienced in marine canvas and you have multiple years of professional experience sewing and want to try a new career we will gladly train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Operate sewing equipment in a shop.
- Read and understand Patterns.
- Apply patterns to the material and cut material with minimal waste.
- Create patterns.
- Read and understand procedures manuals.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental protocols.
- Communicate with coworkers about safety, quality standards, and production goals.
- Follow quality control standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
