We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Laboratory Technician with a strong background in chemistry and management to join our team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform and oversee laboratory testing, analysis, and quality control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and protocols.
- Supervise laboratory staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Develop and implement laboratory procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development projects.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to management.
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other samples.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including analyzers, chemistry, and CBC machines.
- Collect blood samples through venipuncture and capillary puncture when necessary.
- Collect urine specimens following proper procedures and protocols.
- Label and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all specimens collected and tests performed.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the collection and testing process.
- Assist with other laboratory duties as needed.
