Job Responsibilities
This teaching position in which the faculty member functions- under the direction and supervision of the Corporate and Continuing Education (CCE) Director of Health Care Programs. Responsibilities relate to class instruction or the direct supervision of Medical Coding students in a clinical setting and associated tasks necessary to meet the learning outcomes of the course / program. Develops / directs high quality instructional plans and evaluates student progress in achieving course competency.

This position is located on the Airport and Harbison Campuses and the Lexington Northlake Center in Corporate and Continuing Education – Health Care.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Associate’s Degree or Certificate / Diploma in the content area or a related field. National Certification as a Medical Coder (minimum AAPC CPC or AH1MA CCS-P) is required. Knowledgeable in course content and clinical / administrative skills is also necessary.
