Job Responsibilities
Serves as a chief hearing officer for student academic integrity violations and student conduct violations. Interprets academic integrity and student conduct codes. Serves as an ex-officio member of the appeals committee. Assists in hearing proceedings. Directs and monitors the student grievance process and assists students, faculty, and staff with resolving complaints at the lowest level possible. Coordinates the grievance process and ensures compliance. Directs and manages multiple campus environment initiatives, including academic integrity, crisis response, and infectious illnesses. Assesses college academic integrity program and incorporates outcomes to design and implement strategies promoting academic integrity. Launch college-wide standards for academic integrity. Ensures a quick and appropriate response to crises seeking a positive outcome. Serves as National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) advisor. Serves as Title IX investigator in collaboration with the Title IX coordinator. Serves as liaison in internal / external partnerships and serves on college-wide, community, and professional organization committees and task forces. Serves on the college’s student assessment and intervention team with Campus Police, Counseling, and Legal Counsel staff to resolve issues. Serves on Graduation, Honors Ceremony, new student orientation (NSO), and Safety & Security Committees. Oversees the Airport SDS administrative office. Performs various duties as assigned to support the student development process by providing wrap-around services in a learning-teaching environment and SDS initiatives. Trains faculty and staff on SDS topics including behavioral intervention, referrals, and SDS resources. Assesses student needs, coordinates and advises the AVP of Counseling & Support Programs and the VP for Student Development Services. Leads the Behavioral Intervention Team (B.I.T.) and provides case management.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
Master’s Degree in a related field and one year of experience in student services programs. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be substituted on a year-by year bases.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree preferably in in Counseling, Social Work, Higher Education, or a related field), and three years of experience in student code, student conduct, and grievance in higher education. Experience with behavioral intervention team, case management, and student intervention services. Knowledge and experience in student conduct administration and conflict resolution. Ability to interpret codes and equitably administer sanctions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse students, faculty, staff and parents. Ability to make presentations and prepare reports. Familiarity with Clery Act, FERPA, ADA and Title XI.
Salary : $56,210 - $91,529
