Job Responsibilities
Under limited supervision, installs, configures and manages network devices, including but not limited to network switches, wireless access points, telephones, and surveillance cameras for all campuses. Manages applications and systems related to deployment, configuration, patching and monitoring of network devices. Troubleshoots network configuration and connectivity problems. Performs backups of configuration and data for network systems, and monitors network performance, security and logs. Provides end user support for network access. Assists with network hardware and network system installation and configuration. Performs other duties as necessary.

This position is located on the Beltline Campus in the Information Resource Management Department.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and experience in information technology, electronics technology systems, or other related areas. An associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in a related field may be substituted for required experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to configure. deploy and troubleshoot network devices, including but not limited to switches, wireless access points, telephones, and surveillance cameras. Working knowledge of Windows and Linux systems as well as Cisco IOS and NX-OS interfaces. Strong diagnostic skills and methodologies. Good written and verbal communication skills. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and / or Network certifications preferred.
Salary : $38,985 - $53,974
