Job Summary : Join our dedicated team as a Pharmacy Technician! We seek a motivated individual to assist in providing excellent pharmaceutical care in an outpatient / retail environment. After completing the training period, you will take on key responsibilities, including processing prescriptions, engaging with customers, managing inventory, and aiding pharmacists in delivering optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
- 40%) Accurately fill and prepare new and refill prescriptions for pharmacist verification. Responsibilities include calculating dosage, assessing eligibility for programs, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
- 20%) Manage medication inventory by ordering, restocking, and performing regular counts to maintain necessary levels and respond to patient needs.
- 20%) Provide exceptional customer service at the register, processing co-payments and addressing any customer inquiries regarding prescriptions and payment histories.
- 20%) Maintain and organize the over-the-counter (OTC) product area, ensuring that all items are stocked and priced accordingly.
Certifications and Licensures :
Education : High School Diploma or GED required.
