Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers by providing knowledgeable recommendations and a personalized shopping experience.
• Use upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
• Process sales transactions with accuracy using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Perform cash handling responsibilities efficiently and with integrity.
• Support organization and cleanliness of the sales floor and back-of-house areas.
• Restock shelves, manage inventory flow, and communicate inventory needs to management.
• Answer customer questions in person and over the phone with professionalism and product knowledge.
• Contribute to in-store promotions and events to engage the local community.
• Support social media efforts by capturing high-quality product photos and sharing creative ideas.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to POS systems or store equipment when needed.
• Uphold store policies and help cultivate a positive, team-centered work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer-facing sales experience is required; bonus points for high-volume or specialty retail.
• Experience as a key holder or with opening/closing procedures is a plus.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication and people skills.
• Competent with POS systems, mobile devices, and general computer use.
• Familiarity with retail math and basic inventory principles.
• Social media savvy and/or experience in content creation is a welcome asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or industry-relevant training is a plus.
• Availability to work part-time hours across a flexible schedule—this position includes a variety of opportunities, including weekday mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekend shifts.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow in a collaborative setting.
