Job Description
The AV Division Manager plays a crucial role in leading and expanding MidPoint Technology Group's Audio Visual division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Division Development
- Collaborate with the MidPoint Executive team to develop strategic initiatives and market positioning for the AV division.
- Assist in defining and managing the AV division's operating budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives and staffing needs.
- Establish relationships with manufacturers to define MidPoint's standard systems and secure dealership partnerships.
- Partner with distributors to negotiate best pricing practices and secure special project pricing for increased profitability.
- Develop standardized operational processes to improve efficiency and ensure seamless project execution.
- Project Development
- Support and guide the Sales Team and Project Managers in identifying new business opportunities.
- Represent MidPoint within the AV industry, fostering partnerships and increasing brand awareness.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to provide necessary resources and support for successful project execution.
- Develop strong, long-term customer relationships to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in Audio Visual project management, business development, or AV operations management.
- Strong knowledge of AV system design, integration, and industry standards.
- Experience working with manufacturers, distributors, and industry partnerships.
- Ability to develop budgets, forecast growth, and implement operational improvements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex project requirements.
Preferred Certifications:
- CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I Certification
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Other relevant AV industry certifications
