As a growing leader in the Durable Medical Equipment industry, Midsouth Medical, Inc., is seeking to add a technician /delivery driver to our team.
We are located on 3209 Breard Street. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged. We are looking for someone who is willing to be a team player. Assisting with maintaining the warehouse, keeping it in a clean and working order.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and train patients and their family members on safe/appropriate use of equipment prescribed by their physicians
- Following patient orientation checklists during delivery and training of new patients
- Delivering medical equipment and supplies to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner
- Adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. Daily deliveries happen in store and in homes
- Servicing/troubleshooting equipment when necessary to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner
- Use your skills to make a difference in the growth of an organization and the quality of care they offer their patients
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Inspecting delivery vehicle, ensuring the safety of the loading, and unloading process
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to all FDA protocols
- Working on-call during evening and weekend hours to address any patient medical emergencies
Qualifications
- Maintain a valid driver's license for the appropriate class of vehicle driven while employed
- High school diploma or GED
- Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 120 pounds
