Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our apartments and facilities. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to providing excellent relations with our residents. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct tests as needed to maintain safety standards.
- Coordinate activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.
- Work with logic controllers and electrical systems to maintain operational efficiency.
- General knowledge of heating and cooling.
- Provide exceptional service by addressing resident concerns promptly.
- Use of tools or electrical diagnostics to do repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Experience with painting, plumbing, and drywall is preferred.
- Familiarity with HUD requirements, and health and safety.
- Ability to keep an inventory on supplies.
- Excellent skills completing work orders in a timely manner for residents and reporting to management.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and management.
- Ability to work independently as well as reporting to work on time and before leaving.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
