Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our HUD ADA Apartment complex located in Iowa City . The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to effectively manage tenant relationships. Property managers are the heartbeats of our properties.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, leasing activities, and property maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections of property by walking all 4 corners outside, making sure it is free of trash, and inside to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance protocols.
- Handle data entry and file management related to tenant applications, leases, and property records.
- Collect, and deposit monthly rent. check for any outstanding balances.
- Administer legal documentation and ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Be available throughout the day for the residents, emails and phone calls.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and file organization.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants and vendors.
- Knowledge of legal administrative processes related to property leasing and management.
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices and procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
