Description

Midtown is looking for a friendly and driven Full-Time Seasonal Food & Beverage Associate for our summer season to enhance our stellar restaurant experience. Seasonal employment contracts are from May 1 through Sept 30th.

Food & Beverage associate positions are available for busser, runner and counter positions.

Compensation: $16.50/hr (plus tips), based on experience and qualifications.

What You’ll Do

Our Counter Associates are “people persons” to their core, motivated by helping others, and passionate about delivering the best experience through food and connections. As an integral part of our F&B team, you’ll be serving and assisting our customers by taking their orders, servicing, and delivering orders, suggesting delicious meal & drink options, and doing so, while maintaining a safe & sanitary workspace.

Role Responsibilities

• Collecting accurate and efficient orders from our customers
• Handling payment information with integrity and proficiency
• Building lasting relationships with current members and staff through social interactions and conversation
• Crafting, and delivering coffee and smoothies with pride
• Stocking product throughout the shift in our grab & go area as well as on station
• Stocking packaged beverages and snacks within our snack shop
• Serving food items from our pool snack shop window
• Cleaning and maintaining a sanitary workspace and equipment
  

Experience/Skill Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check screening
• Availability to work a flexible schedule especially evenings & weekends
• 1-2 years working in a coffee/smoothie program preferred
• A passion for food and restaurant operations and a desire to make an impact on bettering people's lives
• Guest oriented and service minded
• A "win together" work ethic and the ability to lead by example
• Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Previous Silverware POS experience an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Able to stand for a 8-10 hour shift
• Serv Safe Food Handlers Certificate & Basset required
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.
