Midtown Audio Visual is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for events and a strong understanding of audio-visual technology to join our team as an Event Coordinator. This role focuses on coordinating and managing all aspects of events, from initial client contact, through the sales process and then passed on to Production for execution. The ideal candidate possesses excellent clerical skills and be able to multitask in a fast-paced business atmosphere. Basic understanding of audio-visual equipment, excellent communication skills, and a strong sales aptitude.
Responsibilities :
- Sales & Client Management :
Excellent business and clerical skills, including typing reading and replying to business emails.
Coordinate all aspects of booked events, including sales, scheduling, payment and client communication.
Possess a basic understanding of audio-visual equipment, including lighting, sound systems, staging, and specifically video walls .
