We are currently seeking a skilled Residential Construction Manager to join our growing team and play a key role in ensuring the successful completion of our residential construction projects.
Job Description:
As a Residential Construction Manager at Midtown Home Improvements, you will be instrumental in managing the logistics and day-to-day coordination of our residential construction projects. Your attention to detail, organization, and ability to effectively lead teams will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the backbone of our construction operations, ensuring that materials, timelines, and crews are aligned for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and assess residential construction sites to ensure accurate specifications before ordering materials.
- Oversee and supervise construction crews, providing guidance and ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring that all milestones are met on schedule.
- Coordinate and track the availability of resources and materials, ensuring timely delivery to avoid project delays.
- Maintain and uphold high-quality standards in all construction work, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and client requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the project.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any challenges or issues that arise during construction.
- Update and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and schedules.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in construction coordination or a related field (Preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, timelines, and resource management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage crews and interact with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and other project documentation.
- Familiarity with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A degree or certification in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
