Based in Miami, we specialize in all aspects of commercial and corporate audio-visual design, integration and support services for permanent installation of video conferencing and presentation technologies, audio reinforcement, entertainment and broadcast studio systems and more!
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AV Lead (Level III) Installer to join our team. As a Lead Installer, you will be responsible for seeing projects through, from cable pulls to final testing, with the ability to delegate and lead by example. Some travel may be required.
You MUST have a minimum of 5 years in commercial / corporate audio-visual installation / integration specifically..
This is NOT a position for technicians with ONLY a work history of IT, data, CCTV, security / alarm, cable tv, consumer AV, home theater or event staging related professions . Although experience in these backgrounds is a plus.
Experience Required : 5 Years minimum - Corporate / Commercial AV Installation
Upon being hired, you must perform at a high level in the following areas :
- Terminating CAT6 shielded and Unshielded cable, soldering audio cable, crimping BNC cable, working with a variety of power tools and be knowledgeable in the use of a appropriate hardware and anchors used to install equipment in ceilings, walls and floors.
- Ability to lead and delegate to a team, to install mounts and display, projectors, screens, video walls, speakers, microphones and more, based on installation documents
- Read and interpret drawings, including schematics, elevations, floor plans and rack specifications to ensure the installed systems meet the functional designs.
- Experienced in LV and AV cable runs, using cable-pull schedules, that include proper labeling, planning, routing, terminating and testing
- Execute all facets of installations at a high level with little oversight.
- Participate in daily reporting (EODR) including photos, notes of work completed, notes of work remaining and evaluation of labor resources.
