What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Laundromat Cleaner/Closer position at Midtown Washboard Laundromat?
Currently we are in search of a part-time Cleaner for Weekends for our Laundromat. Perfect for someone wanting to combine with another part-time job or looking for evening weekend shifts.
The duties of this job include:
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Cleaning laundromat facility and machines
A large majority of the workload consists of cleaning the laundromat; such as sanitizing machines, removing lint from the machines, sweeping/mopping the floors and cleaning the bathroom. This position also includes assisting customers using the Laundromat Washers and Dryers.
The skills for this job include but not limited to:
- Out-going, friendly personality - able to converse easily with customers
- Ability to stand, bend and lift without physical issue
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Cleaning experience a plus, but not required
Part-Time Position:
Saturday & Sunday nights 4p-10p
Salary: $15.00 /hr. after 30 days.
