Midway Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal practice.

Full-time employees are scheduled just 4 days per week from 7:20 a.m to 5:30 p.m. (however some evening hours can run closer to 6:00 p.m)
Saturday and Sunday- Closed.

Requirements:
- Previous experience on an animal care team.
- Computer literacy.
- Billing and Cash register handling.
- Ability to multi-task and develop healthy relationships with team members and clients.
- Pet medical and behavioral basics, vaccination types and protocols, and preventative products.
- Driven, reliable and available to work without major schedule conflicts.
- A high level of maturity, excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to maintain professionalism in the face of stressful situations including assistance with pet euthanasia and end of life procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift or carry supplies/equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Endure sitting for extended periods and standing or walking on hard surfaces for extended periods.
Work in a well maintained facility that is accredited by AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association), to maintain the highest standards of veterinary medical care. Modern and advanced diagnostic, therapeutic and monitoring equipment. We use Avimark software and have an in house Veterinary Laboratory with an Idexx Vet Lab Station. We use digital records, digital general and dental radiography and a new in house CT scanner.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
