Primary Purpose:
Ensure efficient operation of school office and provide clerical services for campus administration as needed.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proficient keyboarding skills
Effective organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to understand and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
Ability to operate multi-line phone system
Ability to use computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and word processing
Experience:
Clerical experience in office setting preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Maintain daily attendance of students in E-School Plus.
2. Greet and direct campus visitors. Maintain visitor log and issue visitor passes through the RAPTOR System.
3. Assist parents in checking students in and out of school.
4. Enroll new students and help parents complete the enrollment paperwork.
5. Maintain all demographic changes for students in E-School Plus.
6. Withdrawal of students in E-School Plus.
7. Maintain accurate spreadsheets or other documentation for transfer students and Statement of residency students.
8. Receive, sort, and distribute mail, messages, documents, and other deliveries.
9. Maintain school calendar of events of the campus web site.
10. Receive incoming calls; take reliable messages and rout to appropriate staff.
11. Maintain student records.
12.Request new student records through T-REX system in a timely manner.
Other:
13. Provide clerical assistance as needed including assisting with the scheduling of appointments.
14. Compile, Maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required.
15. Maintain confidentiality.
16. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Tools/Equipment Used: Multi-line phone system; standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals.
Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion: Repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching
Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)
Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours
