Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quick Lane Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive services in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Diagnose and repair minor automotive issues efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of parts as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; automotive certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience in automotive service or repair preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Requirements:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES)

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three months automotive industry work experience
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Must be able to wear required uniform and required safety equipment (both provided by the company).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary certificate
  • Ability to repair machines or systems using the needed tools.
  • Determine causes of operating errors and decide what to do about it.
  • Control operations of equipment or systems.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work station as well as maintain the general shop area.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee must also be able to quickly move hands, hand together with arm, or both hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects. Additionally, the employee must be able to keep hand and arm steady while moving arm or while holding arm and hand in one position, as well as quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or vehicle to exact positions. The employee must be able to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.

The employee must be able to stand for a majority of scheduled shift, as well as frequently walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision as well as color vision. Employee will frequently lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift 50 pounds, and rarely lift 100 pounds with assistance.
