The Title Clerk at Midway Nissan is a full-time, individual contributor role with responsibility for processing vehicle titles in accordance with legal requirements in a timely, efficient manner. Responsibilities
- Verify accuracy of customer data and titles
- Ensure documents are properly notarized
- Enter customer information into the system accurately
- Obtain additional information from customers if necessary
- Process clean and salvage titles
- Register vehicles in accordance with local laws and regulations
- Handle refunds and document discrepancies
- Submit titles to the applicable governmental agency
- Research title problems and discrepancies
- Maintain records of transactions up to date
- Assist customers in completing documents
- Scout vendors for optimal services and cost saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to comprehend and execute complex instructions and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of titling and registration processes and regulations
- Ability to verify accuracy of information
- Excellent customer service
- Attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with automobile titling
- Ability to maintain accurate filing systems
