What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Analyst position at Midway Products Brand?
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Gather and analyze MOS information and Customer score cards.
Update and issue material releases to suppliers in order to maintain production schedules.
Serve as the main point of contact for all customers.
Coordinate prototype and launch activity with respect to the material control function. Maintain a communication bond between plant and suppliers.
Address supplier concerns regarding quality, delivery, and services.
Review DDL and schedule shipments in the absence of the shipping Area Manager.
Identify area of concern with regards to shipping or production schedules.
Attend daily production meetings.
Promote team and internal advancement.
Authorized to initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, processes and quality systems.
Maintain and monitor all Customer order activity.
Perform other essential functions as assigned.
