What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Leader position at Midway Products Brand?
FIRST SHIFT
• The Team Leader is responsible for assisting all Team Members to successfully complete requirements for all production classifications
• Keeps work area clean, neat, orderly, and possess good housekeeping techniques.
• With the approval of the Area Manager/ Team Leader and Q.C. Manager, the employee is authorized to cease production, if parts do not meet quality standards.
• Involved in process improvement teams working with parts as required
• Assists Area Manager in ensuring that team members understand all work specific instructions instruction sheets
• Adheres to all safety regulations and reports any safety concerns to the Area Manager/Team Leader
• Reports all mishits to the Team Leader/ Area Manger.
• Ensures/ assists Team Members in utilization of the correct paperwork and completion accuracy including tags, uptime reports, set-up, check lists, Production Logs/ Flip Chars & production reports.
• Checks to ensure last piece samples are complete by Team Members
Other duties as assigned Requirements High School Diploma and/ or GED preferred Previous Team Leader experience preferred
