Laser Equipment Specialist
Midway Products Group is seeking a skilled Laser Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of laser equipment and laser chillers, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Lead role in maintenance and repair of laser equipment and laser chillers
- Provide instruction and training to production staff
- Collaborate with production, spare parts, and plant engineering to improve uptime
- Work with corporate engineering to improve dimple quality, cut quality, and weld quality
Responsibilities:
- Setup and change fiber optic cable routing, cutting head, and remote laser dress packages
- Perform installation and installation support of laser products
- Implement design modifications and provide installation support
- Consult with corporate laser engineer and plant engineering to resolve unusual problems
Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of laser equipment and laser chillers
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with production staff and engineering teams
