What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Clerk position at Midway Staffing?
We are seeking a diligent and dependable Overnight Billing Clerk for our client in Phoenix, AZ!
Location: Phoenix, AZ!
Schedule: Monday - Friday / 6 pm - 3 am
Pay rate: $20
Duties:
- Generate and process customer invoices for products and services based on sales orders, deliveries, and shipments.
- Verify pricing, quantities, and other relevant details before issuing invoices.
- Review and resolve billing discrepancies, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain organized records of billing information, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assist the receiving department with inventory management and processing, ensuring all goods are properly logged and accounted for.
- May require the associate to go into the warehouse (cold dock at 38° F) occasionally to double-check the weights on items sold by the pound.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of invoices, inventory, and shipments.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; is required
- Previous experience in billing, accounting, or administrative support, ideally in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiarity with billing and inventory management software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
